RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Product purchasers are entitled to an exchange or refund within 30 days of order shipment notification (emailed to you directly upon our shipment of your order). Please note that the product must be returned unused unaltered, with its original tags. Jewellery, books & accessories must be clean & un-used. The purchaser will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Sapling & Flint will not refund shipping costs for either returns or original purchases, unless there has been a shipping error on our part. 

 

REFUNDS

Refunds are completed online, via your original method of payment type. Sapling & Flint reserves the right to deny a refund if the product is damaged, soiled, used, or altered in any way. To initiate refunds, you must contact us about returns/refunds via email at info@saplingandflint.ca . Final-sale merchandise cannot be exchanged or returned at any time. Sapling & Flint is not responsible for damages or costs of customers shipping returns. To continue the returns/ exchange process, S&F must receive the returned item postmarked within the 30 day policy; you will receive an email notification from us upon our inspection of the returned item with instructions for processing your refund/exchange if approved. 

REFUNDS AFTER 30 DAYS

Sapling & Flint may accept refunds / exchanges of products after the 30 day policy, but at our sole discretion. All above stated returns conditions must still be met. 

 

POLICY EXEMPTION - PACKAGING CHAINS

Every pendant (including all sterling silver and karats of gold) are packaged with a complimentary matching 20 inch chain (i.e. a 10kt gold pendant will have a matching 10kt gold chain, etc.) so they may arrive to the customer in a "Ready-to-wear" state. These packaging chains are complimentary, meaning they are part of the packaging and are not to be considered in any way as part of the physical purchased product. Packaging chains that come with the S&F product ("pendant") are exempt from all returns, exchanges and sales policies.

 

RINGS POLICY & WARRANTY- Sapling & Flint rings are covered by a free 2-year limited warranty that comes into effect from the date of the order. The Sapling & Flint 2-year Ring Warranty covers full costs of repairs involving soldering, replacement of stone inlay, and the post-repair cleaning & polishing. The warranty does not cover the cost of re-sizing of rings, any additional metal required for re-sizing, loss or theft of rings, or irreparable damage. Repair work post-warranty coverage will involve in a fee to cover costs of repair and purchase of additional metal if required. Warranty is voided if any alterations to the ring(s) are done by anyone other than our Sapling & Flint studio.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Sapling & Flint reserves the right to amend any information pertaining to any of our policies, terms & conditions, and prices, sizes, terms of purchase and sale offerings without prior notice. In the event of sold-out items, Sapling & Flint  will contact customers with options for full refund, or exchange at the value of the original purchase.
