Silver Turtle Rattle Set
Kanyáhten Ohstá:wen in the Mohawk language, the Turtle Rattle is a quintessential Haudenosaunee instrument. As a tool of Ratóris, its very origin is older than Creation and comes out when Ronatóris come to dance, visit, do medicine for the people and clean our houses. The Haudenosaunee Turtle Rattle is used in most ceremonies across our longhouse ceremonial calendar; putting through songs that share our memories of the Skyworld. All our products are proudly made in our studio in the village of Ohswé:ken!
