10kt gold Stickball pendant
An interpretation of the original Tewa'áraton Lacrosse stick carried to play the Creator's game by our ancestors; proudly made in Six Nations of the Grand river territory. When french Jesuits came across Haudenosaunee players of Tewa'áraton in the 17th century; this stick's webbing reminded them of the cross of Christ's Crucifixion and so they called the game "La Crosse". The word Lacrosse has become the name of the modern sport.
