35% tarriffs hit U.S.A. shoppers Aug 29th
OCTOBER 26TH UPDATE - We are happy to report that we now have mechanisms in place with Canada Post to allow for duties to be paid right at check-out on our website. Canada Post/USPS will continue now as usual to be our method of shipping. P.O.Boxes are now acceptable to use for your shipping address. Please check back here on this blog for any related updates.

Shé:kon to all of our deeply valued USA shoppers. It was important to us to contact you immediately once we heard that on August 29th, US-bound shipments will be impacted by the new United States tarriff policy on international goods. The new U.S. Policy change will apply to all countries. For items with Canada as the country of origin, the duty will be 35% for most goods, regardless of value.
IF YOU HAVE A CANADIAN ADDRESS we strongly suggest you make your online orders deliverable within Canada.
Sapling & Flint is currently focused on restructuring our shipping rates to reflect the new 35% duty for USA bound orders, rather than increasing prices of products, to ensure that prices do not impact Canadian and international orders. We are currently working with Canada Post to secure solutions that will ensure U.S. bound shipments remain compliant and can continue moving smoothly across the border.
