Silver Stickball Stick

An interpretation of the original Tewa'áraton Lacrosse stick carried to play the Creator's game, proudly made in Six Nations of the Grand river territory. When french Jesuits came across Haudenosaunee players of Tewa'áraton in the 17th century; this stick's webbing reminded them of the cross of Christ's Crucifixion and so they called the game "La Crosse". The word Lacrosse has become the name of the modern sport.
