10kt Gold Confederacy Ring

$225

Introduced in 2022, this lightweight, elegant style is a new addition to our ring collection that honours Haudenosaunee tradition and legacy.

Approx. 1.5gm of solid 10kt gold.

The emblem of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Ayonwátha Wampum Belt, is emblazoned onto this 10kt gold ring by Mohawk artist Yonenyà:kenht Jesse Brant. The Ayonwátha Belt can be viewed as a geographic map of the territories of the original Five Nations that make up the Confederacy. To the far west are the Keepers of the Western Door of the Confederacy, the Seneca Nation, followed by the Younger Brothers, the Cayuga Nation; the Central Fire represents the Onondaga Nation where the Haudenosaunee Grand Council meets in an unbroken line to this day. East of the Onondaga are the Younger Brothers the Oneida Nation, and the furthest to the east are the Keepers of the Eastern Door of the Confederacy, the Mohawk Nation.
